“Temel” is a performance, built on the personal feelings which emerge from the need of returning to the root – the root perceived as an authentic fundamental, deeply coded and forming our identity. This code of mystical connection with the unadulterated memory is a constantly repeating algorithm for changing the trajectory along which the artists move. This repetition brings them and the audience to a meditative state, which could be the key to the foundation, thanks to which we can build our uniqueness and protect ourselves from unification. 

Jivko Jeliazkov specialized in contemporary dance choreography at “Victorian College of the Arts”, Melbourn, Australia. He is a co-founder of the first center for contemporary dance in Bulgaria – Derida Dance Center and is the artistic director of “DERIDA” Stage and “DERIDA” Company. In 2018, he was selected as one of TOP 20 choreographers in Europe by the biggest European platform for contemporary dance “Aerowaves – dance across Europe”. His performances were presented in Canada, Israel, China etc. In 2017 he was awarded with ICARUS for contemporary dance and performance with “S INNER”. Together with Atanas Maev, they have developed a one-year  educational and training program – Dance PORT Derida, as an alternative to the state education for dance, as well as an international residency program.
