“Love is mystery. Love is POP. Failed love realness”
Nomination for the National ICARUS Award 2020 for Contemporary Dance and Performance
Six Love Songs is a choreographic concert in which music and dance interact, so that they can visualize failed love. During it, the performers closely flirt with the ideas of intimacy, personal psychologies and feelings. In this way, they open space for the appearance “of a new honest body, a group body, someone who loves the unknown, conflicts and sugar, another who is looking for something else, somewhere else, to you and me.” Six Love Songs raises questions about poly-relationships and the re-identification of personality in the performance context.
