At a time when all contemporary discussions are related to politics and identity, to the phenomenon of post-truth and the rise of populism, our team distances itself from these tendencies, because we have our own manifestos and problems. At a time when everything is changing so rapidly, our team deals with its own centrifugal forces and their external imprints.

The performance aims to inspire or destroy the intentions and roughness between the separate segments: choreography, dance, dramaturgy, direction, musical scores, presence, clothing, objects, light, shadows, songs, manifestos and all sorts of components and techniques that our team activates because it needs quotes, references, models. We produce to create a world that can easily be destroyed. Do we want that?

Poetic punk brutalism tempts the musicians from KAKE – Martian Tabakov and Martin Penev, together with the artists – Galina Borissova, Elena Ivanova, Nevena Kaludova, to probe together the dissatisfaction with the surrounding environment, as unnecessary negativity, launching harmless protest proposals, without established slogans and manifestos. The six artists on stage perform spontaneous structured actions, without constant thought, without narrative, without imitations. We are interested in the virtues of security, pre-theoretical trust, the syndrome of suspicion, the wounds of modernism, the nihilism of postmodernism, conceptual suggestions, etc.

“We deal with realism because it is real, with naturalism because it is natural, and with brutalism because it is monumental.” – explains Galina Borisova.
