There is a question which is capable of overcoming physical laws and it is “How to live?”. In search of its answer two characters, A and B, manage to meet even though one of them is in constant search and movement in a straight line and the other contemplates without moving. The details about this meeting are at the core of the visual dance performance “Pas Bouger”, inspired by the play of the same title of the French writer Emannuel Darley. The pages of the novel are recreated in a minimalistic structure leading to hypnotic visual, sound and movement environment.

The play was presented in Bulgarian at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” as a reading in 2008,  within the “ProText” platform of the Organization for Contemporary Alternative Art and Culture “36 Monkeys”.

Zhivko Zhelyazkov specialized contemporary choreography at the “Victorian College of the Arts”, Melbourn, Australia. He is co-founder of the first contemporary dance center in Bulgaria – Derida Dance Center and creative director of “Derida” Stage and “Derida” company. In 2018 he was ranked one of the Top20 choreographers in Europe in the rankings of the largest contemporary dance platform in Europe “Aerowaves – dance across Europe”. His performances were performed in Canada, Israel, China, etc. In 2017 he was awarded ICARUS for the contemporary dance performance “S INNER”. Together with Atanas Maev he developed a one-year study and training programme – Dance PORT Derida as an alternative to the state dance training as well as an international residency programme. He is a choreographer and director of more than 40 performances in the area of contemporary dance and theatre and he is creative director of a number of European projects.
