After conquering the international stages as a performer and choreographer, Ivo Dimchev steps on this sanctuary of his as an author of music and singer. So, with the start of the artistic season, new songs and new concerts by Ivo Dimchev are coming. Yet, rather than a regular music concert, his stage appearances are always unpredictable experiences. During the lockdown due to the pandemic in 2020, he bravely “dribbled” with his voice (instead of a ball) our notions of social distance by organizing private concerts in his car, at the homes of his fans and in other private spaces, as well as by carrying out grand-piano afternoon concerts at the ballroom of the National Art Gallery in Sofia. During his concert, part of the Bulgarian Dance Platform of the 13th edition of Antistatic, audiences will listen to songs, written, composed and performed by Ivo Dimchev. 

Ivo Dimchev is a choreographer, visual artist, singer and songwriter whose work is an extreme and colourful mixture of performance art, dance, theatre, music, drawings and photography. Dimchev is author of more than 30 performances. He has received numerous international awards for dance and theater and has presented his work all over Europe, Asia, South and North America. Besides his artistic work he gives master classes in the National Theater Academy, Budapest; the Royal Dance Conservatorium of Belgium, Antwerp; Hochschule der Künste, Bern; DanceWeb in Vienna, etc. He is author of the book “Stage works 2002-2016” (2016), presenting images and dramaturgical texts from more than 30 stage works and “Lyrics and Pederatuses” (2017) with 150 poems and short stories. In 2017 Ivo Dimchev released 2 music albums with his own music “Songs from my shows – Live” and “SCULPTURES”. Since then he has been touring the world with his music and concerts.
