medea takes place in a devastated reality, inhabited by phantom images and fragments that sound with the echo of a myth. A world of remnants in which the body appears as an extreme figure of crisis in the crosspoint of memory of its programmed physicality and the moment of its obliteration. The performance bears an eccentric sense of the movement and the form in space, created as a result of the meeting between Nikola Borissov, sculptor, who takes part as performer, and Miroslava Zahova – the new discovery of the Bulgarian contemporary performance scene.

medea is a co-production of Kinesthetic project, Graffit Gallery and Structura Ltd, sponsored by Protech.

medea is part of “Varna – Candidate for European Capital of Culture
2019” and is supported by Varna Municipality   through Varna- Territory of Creation Programme.
