CoTeaching is an educational format that presupposes a teaching act as a learning act, that provides multiperspectivity and asymmetrical organization of teaching processes and allows (re)active teaching and learning experiences. It is a format that was developed within the Nomad Dance Academy Network and it has been successfully realized in the last years in Slovenia, Macedonia, Croatia, etc.
During the 4-days workshop in Sofia three dance professionals and experienced mentors with a different background will lead in a format of a dialogical teaching a process of exchange of practices and of creating a community based on differences rather than on similarities. How can we bring things together that usually might not work? Each day the participants will work on a score and within a process of improvisation will develop a material on the base of their practices but deliberately shifted in a different context. How can we develop our responsiveness to the others, reflexiveness to the current always changing moment, situation, presence? How can we be able to develop improvisational scores and dramaturgy practicing our differences and be ready to give and also to receive feedback?
A small journey between 3 people and 12 more.
To apply, please send us your artistic CV to the address: dramaturgies.new@gmail.com
The workshop is aimed at dance professionals and teachers from different backgrounds but still with some experience.
Deadline for applications: 7th of May, 2017
