We have the pleasure to announce an open call for applications for:
SOME OTHER PARADISES
Workshop with Kevin Jean (France)
part of WITHOUT DISTANCE EDUCATIONAL PLATFORM/ Teachback in the frame of 10th Antistatic International Festival for Contemporary Dance and Performance, (12 – 20 May 2017),
Sofia/Bulgaria
13-15 May, Sofia/ Bulgaria
During the 3-days workshop, the participants will plunge into daily experimentation and research connected to Kevin Jean’s performance Des Paradis, part of the 10 th Antistatic Festival.
We will start with somatic techniques to develop our own perception and ability to connect to our self. It will be all about: finding place, autonomy, cohabitation and cooperation, the capacity to unite, to find common and to struggle together with conviction to create, with renewed sweetness, our paradises, our dreams and hopes. We will create our islands, without waiting, and it will be possible to make germinate our utopias – individual and collective ones.
The goal of this workshop will be centered around the notion of discovery, contact, sensitivity, free play and adaptation, weight and body to body.
Kevin Jean is a choreographer and performer from France.
