The fifht Bulgarian Dance Platform will present again numerous artistic achievements in the field of contemporary dance and performance.

We are happy to announce the fifht  biennial Bulgarian Dance Platform as part of the #19th edition of the Antistatic International Festival for Contemporary Dance and Performance.

 The organisers of the Bulgarian Dance Platform warmly invite you to Sofia, Bulgaria, from 16 to 19 May 2026, to experience a curated selection of choreographic works by independent Bulgarian dance artists. The selected works explore the boundaries of choreography and movement, questioning established aesthetics and forms within contemporary dance and performance.

Alongside the main performance programme, the Platform will host a series of meetings and informal   gatherings with artists, as well as lively social events in the evenings.

Professional Accreditation

As an artist or professional working in the field of dance and performance, you may apply for professional accreditation for the Bulgarian Dance Platform #5.
The accreditation fee is 50 EUR and grants access to the full programme of the platform (up to 13 performances).
Hotel accommodation (up to four nights) is covered for accredited professionals.
Please note that travel expenses are not covered.
